14 Days In January, 2014 - Charles River, Cambridge, MA, USA
What a difference a day can make…
The changing temperatures overnight lead to a riot of patterns on the ice.
Some areas creating dramatic grey whorls in the ice.
Other areas like seem like a layer cake of varied textures.
This body of work was made along the Cambridge side of the Charles River over a period of fourteen days in January 2014. This is an outgrowth of my previous work along this same stretch of the River, exploring variations in light, color texture and mood.
